Fundraising for Turkey and Syria's Earthquakes

Heavenly Father, our hearts are moved by the effects of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. The grief felt by families who have lost loved ones, or await news of loved ones, is unimaginable. We turn to you, God of all comfort, and ask that you be close to people in the days ahead and that they might know your peace that surpasses all understanding.

A group of our lovely Year 6 children asked Mrs Tucker if we could have a whole school mufti day to raise much needed funds for the people in Turkey and Syria.  Their homes and lives have been devastated by the Earthquakes which hit then earlier this week.  The idea was to bring in £1 to donate to the fundraiser and in return the children got to wear their own clothes for the day.

We are so proud of these children; it runs through the heart of the school to give love and compassion to those in need and we hope in a very small way we as a school can help.
