KS1 Life Long Ago, Dino Workshop

Discover the wonder of the dinosaurs

Our Life Long Ago fossil dig workshop brings prehistoric life to your school.

In our large sandboxes, the children locate and identify fossils from some of the most iconic dinosaurs of the past. Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and a few other surprises are all thrown in. The children will learn when each dinosaur lived, where they came from, what they ate and much more.

We provide all the fossils, the tools required and an expert to deal with all the burning questions from your young palaeontologists.

This workshop can also be combined with a visit from our baby dinosaurs. Meet animatronic Parasauralophus and other young dinosaurs.

Our expert dinosaur handler introduces the realistic hatchlings whilst explaining about their family, diet, habitat and what the era was like millions of years ago.

A truly memorable way to learn incredible facts. Perfect for those studying the topic of the dinosaurs, or as a brilliant treat day!

As we proceed through Science Week, today the KS1 children in Early Years to Year 2 attended a Life Long Ago and Baby Dino Workshop!  There were lots of fun and the children got to be real Archaeologists with lots of hands on exploring.  At the end of the workshop the children got to meet a baby Dino called Bella who the children adored (once they realised she didn't bite!).

Everyone had a great time.
