Red Nose Day 2024

Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising campaign created by Comic Relief to end child poverty throughout the world. The organisation funds programs which help keep children safe and healthy while providing them with support and education. Fundraising events are held throughout the day on Red Nose Day to raise as much money as possible. This fun-filled day ends with a live telethon broadcast on BBC, hosted by some of the biggest comedians and celebrities. It uses the power of comedy and entertainment to bring people together to have fun and, of course, raise money for the children who need it most.

Lord Jesus you fed the hungry,
you shared your bread with all.
Your people hunger now,
and we are called to share your bread.

May rains fall upon the dry and broken earth
and quench your people’s thirst,
so seeds grow tall and flourish,
producing a bountiful harvest.

May we share the blessings you give us
and bring comfort to those in need.
May we show love through our actions
so all have enough to eat.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Our lovely children have arrived in school in a sea of RED!  We are fundraising for a worthy cause, to end child poverty throughout the world.   Thank you to everyone who has donated, helping our children lives by their Christian values.
