Shine Celebration of Success 2024

Organised by the 10 schools and two Mitcham community groups which make up the Mitcham Town Cluster, the ‘Celebration of Success’ evening was held yesterday (29 February 2024).  The annual event showcasing the work and efforts of schools and pupils across Mitcham. Youngsters from Cricket Green, Bond Primary, Benedict Primary, Cranmer Primary, Liberty Primary, Haslemere Primary, SS Peter and Paul, St Thomas of Canterbury, and St Mark’s Academy schools celebrated the achievements of Mitcham schools this year including the success of the Cluster Study Support Centre and the SHINE Saturday School. Designed to provide a stimulating and modern teaching environment, the Cluster Study Support Centre is a joint project across Mitcham schools to help students progress more rapidly with their studies. The SHINE Saturday School is another of the cluster’s flagship programmes and gets pupils involved in positive activities on Saturdays and during summer holidays including healthy lifestyle and IT games creation courses.
