Sports Day 2023

 

 

 

What is the purpose of sports day in school?

 

The main idea of a sports day in school is to encourage children to have fun, to get active and to work together in various fun physical activities and challenges.

 

On your marks, get set, Go ….    

 

Today was Sports Day for Nursery through to Year 5.  The Year 6 children are helping to run this event, to enable the day to go smoothly.

 

Despite it being very warm, the children gave their all. There was plenty of water and shade to enable them to give their best. Jumping, running, and throwing were the order of the day and it was a great success.  The children had a blast!

 

All the points from today will be carried to tomorrow's whole school Sports Day.
