SPORTS DAY 

What is the purpose of sports day in school?

The main idea of a sports day in school is to encourage children to have fun, to get active and to work together in various fun physical activities and challenges.

 

On your marks, get set, go ….    

Today was Sports Day at St Thomas of Canterbury!

The whole school wore their team colours of red, yellow, green or blue!

The sun shone brightly and the children gave it their all.  Thank you to our wonderful year 6 children who were brilliant at helping the day to run smoothly by keeping score, giving instructions and encouraging the children.

The whole day was a resounding success.

All points will be added to the whole year results.
