Year 3 Countries and Cultures

Year 3 are having a Countries and Costumes Day. This is to celebrate why we are so unique and how important it is to show where we have come from. STOC is a melting pot of so many different cultures from all over the world, so why not spend a day learning about places and traditions we might not have known much about before?  It's a great opportunity for the children to learn more about each other and show how passionate they are about their heritage. They have loved sharing their experiences in class and seeing what is similar and what is different to their peers' experiences so far, so I am sure this day will be just as enjoyable for them (and us too!).  The children even got to cook some Chinese spring rolls!!!!
