Year 4 London Zoo Trip

First I saw the white bear, then I saw the black;
Then I saw the camel with a hump upon his back;
Then I saw the grey wolf, with mutton in his maw;
Then I saw the wombat waddle in the straw;
Then I saw the elephant a-waving of his trunk;
Then I saw the monkeys—mercy, how unpleasantly they smelt!

We are only a few weeks into the new school year, and Year 4 are on their first outing of the Year!  They spent a lovely day at the ZSL London Zoo!  As part of their Science topic, they are studying animals and humans.  The children had a wonderful time  and saw so many different animals and species.  Plenty of thoughts and ideas to take back to school with them.
