Year 5 Earthquakes and Volcanoes - Part 2
Well the day has finally come to complete the volcano experiment! All the children eagerly awaited their turn to set off their volcanoes. Wow, there were some beauties!!!!
Sleep gentle volcano, do not wake;
dream of things volcanoes dream about
like firebirds beside a lava lake
or, swimming through the lake, fire finned trout.
Dream of a glowing cinder wonderland
where you eat boiling bowls of magma stew
beside a lava sea on hot ash sand;
hush and your red hot dreams may all come true.
