Year 5 Greenwich Observatory

Visit the infamous home of Greenwich Mean Time at the Greenwich Royal Observatory where you can stand on the iconic Prime Meridian Line and even take a journey through space!

Discover the remarkable story being Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) at this historic site, and learn all about the fascinating stories behind it. Visit the Time Galleries and discover how you can find where you are at sea, and you can even marvel at one of the biggest telescopes in the whole world and see the Great Equatorial Telescope!

Take a trip into outer space at the planetarium and discover a wide variety of space themed shows, including learning about the other planets, seeing the stars, and plenty of kid friendly shows too!
