Year 5 Trip to Hampton Court Palace

Take a visit to Hampton Court Palace to learn all about the adventurous tales of Henry VIII. Built in the 16th century, the Hampton Court Palace not only served as the residence of King Henry, and the subsequent monarchy, but it stands as the symbol of one of the most important epochs in England, i.e. the Tudor dynasty.
The whole of Year 5 had an A - MAZE - ING time at Hampton Court Palace! The children got to see the kitchens, the Great Hall, where King Henry VIII entertained his guests, together with the beautiful courtyard and gardens including the Maze. They have been studying the Tudors as their topic and it was a fantastic opportunity to see just how the Tudors lived. They attended a really interesting workshop too!
Everyone had a royally good day!
