Year 6 Globe Theatre Trip

Thursday 27th January saw year 6 travel to London to visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

We arrived too early so had a stroll down to Tower Bridge, where we ate an early lunch. A slightly faster walk back to the Globe and an amazing tour of the theatre. Every child got to 'perform' on the stage. It is a spectacular building and brought gasps of 'wow' as we entered the theatre. We had an acting workshop and really got to grip with Lady Macbeth and her persuasive technique! Look out for the writing to follow.

A fabulous day and we even bumped into Mr Feasey on the train!
