Year 6 Trip to the National Army Museum

The National Army Museum in London opened in 2017. Situated in the Chelsea area, it tells the story of the British army over the past 400 years. It is felt that many people know little about what the army does, let alone the soldier’s real experience now or in the past. The National Army Museum in London seeks to bridge the gap between the army and British society.
Gracious God, we pray for all persons suffering from war.
Transform the hearts and minds of all those who perpetuate violence and oppression.
Grant wisdom to world leaders in advancing efforts toward world peace; may they not be
compromised by self-interest and blind indifference.
Amen

Our lovely Year 6 children and staff have had a fun day out today! They have been to the National Army Museum in Chelsea, London. They had a wander around looking at the many artefacts on display and attended a workshop! The visit coincided with their History Topic of World War 2.
It was a great day and the children had a lovely time.
