Years 1, 2 and 3 Advent Liturgy 2024

  

 Advent is a wonderful time to experience being a kingdom people. We are united in our sense of joy and awe as we await Christmas and the Incarnation and we are set apart from the world in that our preparation for Christmas includes meeting together in worship.

 

God of hope, who brought love into this world,
be the love that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought peace into this world,
be the peace that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought joy into this world,
be the joy that dwells between us.
God of hope, the rock we stand upon,
be the centre, the focus of our lives
always, and particularly this Advent time.

 

 

 

 

Today Years 1, 2 and 3 have attended SS Peter Paul Church for an Advent Liturgy and Carol Service. It was so special for the children to actually attend church for the Liturgy. The Liturgy was lead by our wonderful Year 3 children and they did an amazing job. What a wonderful way to start the lead up to the celebration of Christmas. It was a beautiful service, thank you Father Stephen for welcoming us at Church and for a lovely start to Advent.
